Description: Greets, registers guests, and assigns rooms. Sells other Mammoth California services, such as Bike Park tickets, Lift Tickets, etc. Dispatches Housekeepers and Maintenance Service employees in response to guests' requests. Makes, changes and cancels reservations.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services as well as other Mammoth California services. Computes bill, collects payment, and checks guests out of the hotel. Deposits guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe deposit box.
NOTE: This opening presents a rather unique chance to work at a premiere "boutique" property, and is a rare opportunity to join the elite team at the Tamarack Lodge. Schedules vary, and we are open to discussing full-time as well as part-time opportunities, for the "right" candidate!

Requirements: High school graduate with general business office training or equivalent experience. Basic computer skills required. Minimum of one year experience in public or guest relations service.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Schedules vary for this position, and will include some evening and night work up until around Midnight. On these shifts, the incumbent will probably be required to assist with luggage handling and transportation issues at night, including stormy weather nights. Thus the ideal candidate will be able to routinely move objects weighing up to fifty pounds, be willing and able to work outdoors at night during storms, and also have computer skills to deal with late Guest check-ins as well as "Daily Closing" routines at the end of this work shift.

Description:
Responsible for running all aspects of the daily operation of Mammoth Memories Photo Services. Identifies and develops new business opportunities. The Manager of Mammoth Memories Photo Services is responsible for meeting revenue goals, managing inventory, and controlling expenses.
The Manager will train and coach Photographers in the art of salesmanship. The Manager will track and monitor sales statistics and will coach Photographers to continually improve sales targets.

Description:
The copywriter is a member of an in-house creative team who will work collaboratively with graphic artists and a web producer to write and edit emails, marketing collateral, blog content, web content, corporate communications, resort signage and advertisements.
Primary writing skill-sets include compelling email copy, interactive web content and impactful marketing communications. Position works closely with marketing manager to implement communication solutions to various marketing initiatives.
Web editor duties include collaborating with web producer to generate new web content, update existing content, improve content based on site analytics and edit content to ensure a consistent voice.
This is a great opportunity for a low to mid-level copywriter to gain experience in a wide-range of communications and to collaborate with professional artists to bring projects to fruition.
Responsibilities include:
o Copywriting for marketing collateral, website, and company blog
o Writing and implementing email campaigns and landing pages
o Conceiving, writing, editing and updating web content

Functions include planning and organizing all events including, but not limited to, meeting room reservations, menu planning and Food and Beverage booking for all clients, hotel room reservations, attending and servicing catered functions when needed, and handling office phone lines when needed.

Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer to perform administrative services to assist Mammoth Mountain Ski Area in daily operational needs as well as in strategic long-term goals.
Works primarily with the management team of the Marketing Division, providing access and all services and work products associated with communication, record keeping, measurement, research, report writing, project and meetings coordination, including Guest and Employee satisfaction measures.
Requirements:
Minimum one year certificate from college or technical school: or 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Description:
The Marketing Segment Manager is responsible for the creation and implementation of marketing plans for all of MMSA's ancillary businesses with goal of increasing revenue and visitation to each guest segment. This key role within the organization will define strategies and manage execution of marketing programs aligned with guest segment experience and brand marketing objectives.
Responsible for development and management of profitable marketing campaigns and tactics in support of loyalty and retention programs. Supervises management of integrated campaigns, specifically using multiple media channels including online and offline advertising, direct mail, email marketing, website and social media.
Responsible for attaining established goals as they relate to resort visitation, lead acquisition and conversion, retention and increased profitability among guest segments. Uses database and website analyses and campaign performance data to optimize programs, determine optimal marketing contact strategy, reduce costs and maximize return on investment.
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree required with at least 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the resort industry or similar.
o Must have prior experience in strategic creative development and management of multi-channel direct marketing programs, including integrated direct mail and email campaigns.
o CRM and loyalty program management a plus.
o Development and implementation of successful data driven marketing strategies, including testing techniques.

o Respond and resolve immediate problems and determine resolution to prevent reoccurrence.
o Baseline database performance and configuration and track stability/downtime for all data, database, and reporting systems. Monitor database performance via perfmon and extract results to an external database for trending and analysis. Use traces and other methods to analyze performance including SQLlogs.
o Administer, develop, and maintain Mammoth’s Microsoft SQL, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and MS Reporting Services data environment and support all software releases.
o Demonstrate experience with hardware/database optimization and performance tuning including indexing and RAID configurations.
o Advanced knowledge of data models and data modeling for report design and database optimization.
Requirements:
o Candidate must have experience with data transformation (SSIS), stored procedures, maintenance plans, transactional and log-shipping replication, clustered database servers, database mirroring, and centralized storage systems.
o Experience with guest service, sales, or financial platforms is a plus such as Agilysis (formerly VisualOne) or Siriusware.
o The candidate must collaborate and be able to communicate effectively with both technical staff and users regarding systems, procedures, and troubleshooting and reporting requirements.
o Must be comfortable working some odd hours and on-call in case of emergencies.
o Familiarity with travel, leisure, and/or hospitality industries.

If you like to ski or ride and work in the great outdoors, this job may be for you!
Under the supervision of a qualified lift technician you will maintain and repair ski lift machinery, controls, safety systems, and other equipment. New installations of machinery and electrical equipment are also possible. Daily pre-operational inspections of ski lifts electrical and mechanical components shall be performed after training.
We are looking for someone with mechanical skills and a strong electrical trouble-shooting background.
NOTE: Pay depends upon experience.
Requirements:
Graduate from Electrical or Millwright course, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulics, motor controls and plcs a plus!
Applicant must be physically fit in order to meet the climbing, lifting, and other physical and environmental demands of the work. Must communicate effectively (written and verbal skills) and be able to work in a team environment. Applicant will work outdoors in alpine weather conditions year round. Applicant must have or obtain a valid California drivers license.
