Description:

Assist in the day-to-day general accounting functions related to recreational, retail, and food and beverage activities. Prepare, document, review journal entries, maintain the general ledger and fixed asset system, and assist in the management of the month end closing process.

Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts. Prepare financial statements, analysis and monthly budget variance write-up for management and external users, as well as assist in the management of the year-end financial audit.

Requirements:

BS degree in accounting or equivalent. Minimum of 2 to 4 years combined audit and industry experience. CPA preferred but not required. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. Proficient in GAAP.

Strong PC skills (MS Office) and experience with G/L accounting programs preferred. Strong organizational skills. Motivated personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Owner Relations Coordinator

Description:

Performs administrative tasks related to favorable relationships between property owners and guests. Maintains communication by way of telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Serves as a liason between various parties including Owners, Guests, Contractors, and MMSA facility management teams.

Schedules vary, with an emphasis on peak occupation periods that include week ends and Holidays.

NOTE: This is a Seasonal position, with potential for development into additional opportunity for the successful candidate.

Requirements:

High School graduate. A college or university degree or diploma in hospitality management is desired. Property management and / or hotel experience is desired.

Superior communication skills required. Must be proficient with computer-based systems and software, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Familiarity with hotel-management software systems a plus. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Familiarity with the Mammoth Lakes areas desired.

Position:

Entry-level Lift Maintenance Mechanic

Description:

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician.

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements:

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Description:

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing information and insights regarding customers, markets, competitors, and campaign effectiveness to measure performance and support business decisions.

Location: Los Angeles Office (near LAX)

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of experience in marketing analytics and market research

- Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes

- Strong project management, business writing, and reporting skills

- Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and reporting software

- Must be proficient in t-SQL, Excel, Powerpivot, Google Analytics or similar web analytics tool

- Effective time management, organizational and leadership skills

- A team player who excels in a fast-paced environment

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field. MBA a plus.

- Ability to travel 10% of the time

Description: Prepares daily menu. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups and sauces. Washes, peels, cuts and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use.

Bakes bread, rolls and pastries. Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked. Carves meats and portions food, adds gravies, sauces and garnishes.

Maintains kitchen work areas in an organized and sanitary fashion. Adheres to strict California Department of Health standards.

NOTE: we are seeking an individual with Line Cook experience in a fine dining operation, 30 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years training and/or experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
