Description:

Requirements:

Education: High school graduate

Experience: At least two years experience working in bike park operations.

First-aid requirements: Emergency Medical Response (with CPR and AED), or Emergency Medical Technician, or Wilderness First Responder, or Outdoor Emergency Care through National Ski Patrol

Competencies:

• Strong interest and competence in mountain biking and other summer experiences

• Outgoing, positive personality

• Good communication skills

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, outdoor recreation environment

• Ability to work inter-departmentally

Position:

Assistant Executive Housekeeper - Mammoth Mtn Inn

Description:

• Assists the Executive Housekeeper to administer and oversee housekeeping and laundry operations

• Coordinates daily operations and job assignments for housekeeping and laundry operations in conjunction with hotel operations/needs

• Coaches/Corrects staff, holding them to the highest level of efficiency and productivity

• Accountable for financial, employee, and guest service goals of the department

• Assists Executive Housekeeper with interviewing, hiring, and training of all department staff

• Measure staff performance, prepare reviews, and council employees in a timely and professional manner

• Provide guidance and leadership to supervisors and department employees

• Responsible for guest relations management, lost and found activities, and problem solving in all aspects of department operations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Supervisory/Management experience within Housekeeping or Laundry operations

• High School degree; College degree is desirable

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Experience with VisualOne PM system desirable

Description:

Oversees and manages the entire Front Office Staff to include Front Desk, Reservations, Concierge, Bellstaff and Night Audit.

Administers all processes relating to the maximizing of hotel occupancy and revenue through effective room inventory control. Coordinates all hiring, training, supervision and development of Front Office Staff.

Oversees all service that guests receive and maintains Hospitality guest service standards.

Requirements:

3-4 years management experience in Front Office Operations in an upscale hotel environment. Familiarity with POS and reservations systems (Visual One) operation and high transaction volume preferred.

Commitment to the highest levels of hospitality, staff development and guest relations. Excellent communications skills, professional demeanor, and history of progressive development in the hospitality industry.

General Accounting Manager

Description:

Assist in the day-to-day general accounting functions related to recreational, retail, and food and beverage activities. Prepare, document, review journal entries, maintain the general ledger and fixed asset system, and assist in the management of the month end closing process.

Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts. Prepare financial statements, analysis and monthly budget variance write-up for management and external users, as well as assist in the management of the year-end financial audit.

Requirements:

BS degree in accounting or equivalent. Minimum of 2 to 4 years combined audit and industry experience. CPA preferred but not required. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. Proficient in GAAP.

Strong PC skills (MS Office) and experience with G/L accounting programs preferred. Strong organizational skills. Motivated personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Entry-level Lift Maintenance Mechanic

Description:

Oversees the safe and efficient operations of all aerial and surface lifts (including the gondolas), under the direct supervision of a qualified technician.

Performs general maintenance and repairs, performs daily and monthly inspections, and troubleshoots simple system faults, both on the low voltage and mechanical sides.

We are looking for someone who is interested in making this a long-term commitment and wants to learn, advancing his or her knowledge and mechanical skills.

Requirements:

High school graduate with 2 years minimum electrical trade school or equivalent experience.

Must have all required tools (minimum tool list will be presented at interview), minimum of 6 months experience in a mechanical or electrical field, basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Must have a valid California driver’s license. Must be able to work long hours in extreme weather conditions at elevated heights. Must be able to work on a flexible schedule.

Location: Los Angeles Office (near LAX)

Requirements:

- 4-6 years of experience in marketing analytics and market research

- Exceptional knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes

- Strong project management, business writing, and reporting skills

- Solid business acumen, management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and reporting software

Description: Prepares daily menu. Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups and sauces. Washes, peels, cuts and shreds vegetables and fruits to prepare them for use.

Bakes bread, rolls and pastries. Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking. Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked. Carves meats and portions food, adds gravies, sauces and garnishes.

Maintains kitchen work areas in an organized and sanitary fashion. Adheres to strict California Department of Health standards.

NOTE: we are seeking an individual with Line Cook experience in a fine dining operation, 30 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years training and/or experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
