Description:

o Manage department through performance evaluations, setting department goals, tracking employee opinion surveys, holding team building activities, establishing service guidelines, setting training schedules and classes, managing employee work weeks and integrating team goals with overall IT vision and strategy.

o Proritize work and budget and ensure staffing schedules support important programs such as value pass and peak demand periods.

o Respond and resolve immediate problems and determine resolution to prevent reoccurrence.

o Baseline database performance and configuration and track stability/downtime for all data, database, and reporting systems. Monitor database performance via perfmon and extract results to an external database for trending and analysis. Use traces and other methods to analyze performance including SQLlogs.

o Establish Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) for all database and reporting platforms including establishing backup plans for disk and tape backups. Perform regular backup recovery.

o Establish and implement policies, procedures, and processes to ensure reliability, integrity, and security of company's databases and reporting platforms.

o Administer, develop, and maintain Mammoth’s Microsoft SQL, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and MS Reporting Services data environment and support all software releases.

o Demonstrate experience with hardware/database optimization and performance tuning including indexing and RAID configurations.

o Advanced knowledge of data models and data modeling for report design and database optimization.

Requirements:

o Candidate must have experience with data transformation (DTS packages), stored procedures, maintenance plans, transactional and log-shipping replication, clustered database servers, database mirroring, and centralized storage systems.

o Experience with guest service, sales, or financial platforms is a plus such as Agilysis (formerly VisualOne) or Siriusware.

o The candidate must collaborate and be able to communicate effectively with both technical staff and users regarding systems, procedures, and troubleshooting and reporting requirements.

o Must be comfortable working some odd hours and on-call in case of emergencies.

o Familiarity with travel, leisure, and/or hospitality industries.

o 4-6 years of database management experience and 4-6 years of management experience required with a BS in Computer Science a big plus.

Description: Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort seeks a Group Sales Manager to focus on selling to escorted bus tours as well as spring, summer, fall and winter sports camps.

Responsibilities include booking the highest quality group business for Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort with a focus on increasing room nights at Mammoth's premiere properties: the Mammoth Mountain Inn, Juniper Springs Resort, Village Lodge and Tamarack Lodge.

The perfect candidate will maximize potential of existing accounts and solicit new business while achieving and exceeding all revenue goals including room nights, food and beverage as well as a variety of other Mammoth activities. Previous experience selling to the escorted tour and sports camp markets highly desire.

Primary emphasis will be placed on sales of existing lodging programs along with up-selling of Food & Beverage, event space and the resort's various activities. The individual in this position will initiate sales programs and develop strategies aimed at soliciting customers on the widest range of product offerings including shoulder seasons, summer and white space periods.

The ideal candidate for this position will need to cultivate existing relationships, aggressively grow new business in the tour bus, sports team, and ski camp market segments while working to increase ADR, F&B Contribution, and total room nights. In summary the candidate should be able to improve the quality and quantity of future Tour Bus and Sports business brought to The Mammoth Mountain Inn, Juniper Springs Lodge, and The Village Lodge as well as the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort.

Requirements: Undergraduate degree in sales related field or equivalent experience. Three years experience in hospitality sales, with emphasis on management skills and the meeting and incentive markets. Knowledge of Mammoth California products and corporate philosophies preferred.

Applicants must possess strong verbal, written and computer skills with extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Sirius Point of Sale and Visual One PMS strongly preferred.

Description: Provides leadership to front desk employees. Funds controller for all specified revenue locations. Solves guests problems. Trains front desk employees on procedures and also helps plan and coordinate front desk staff meetings.

Participates in various projects with the use of Excel and Word software. Provides information in person and by telephone regarding hotel services. Assists guests in making, changing, and canceling reservations. Registers guests into and out of hotel.

Requirements: High School graduate with general business office training and college or equivalent experience. Computer skills required including Excel and Word.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Front Office supervisory experience.

Minimum of 1 year managerial experience. Minimum of 1 year of guest relations and the ability to solve problems in a timely manner and show great hospitality.

The Mammoth Mountain Inn, Juniper Springs Lodge, The Village Lodging at Mammoth and Tamarack Lodge and Resort. The successful candidate will maximize potential of existing accounts and solicit new business while achieving and exceeding all revenue goals including room nights, skier visits, food and beverage as well as a variety of other Mammoth activities.

Previous experience selling to the target markets is required. Experience within the ski industry a plus.

Requirements:

Applicant must reside in the Bay Area / Northern California market area.

5 + years experience as a Sales Manager with demonstrated results in the development of customer satisfaction and repeat bookings. Requires the ability to conduct presentations and be effective at public speaking. Strong organizational and negotiating skills, as well as the ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Current experience with a proven track record of success within the hotel and travel industry is mandatory, including use of Hospitality software platforms (Delphi, VisualOne, Agilysys) along with knowledge of Global Distribution Systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or Worldspan.

Description: This position functions as the strategic business leader of Revenue Management. Has overall responsibility for balancing the financial objectives of different lodging products, winter and summer activities, and mountain operations to maximize total revenues. Position is accountable for pricing, positioning and inventory of all products within the market.

Oversees all processes associated with demand, revenue, inventory, forecasting and opportunity analysis. Develops and recommends sales strategy for pricing of the customer. Acts as primary contact for and maintains productive relationships with all stakeholders including hotel General Mangers, Sales Leaders, the Business Owners, the Marketing Team, and the Corporate Team.

Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management preferred and/or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5 years of previous hotel, resort, and multi-unit revenue management experience required to be seriously considered.

o Knowledge of technical and managerial application of reservation systems and their utilization by each business unit .

Description:

This manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Mammoth's e-commerce and other web systems. The Web Manager will establish short term and long term team goals that are consistent with overall IT strategies and manage daily work and projects to meet goals. The Web Manager is responsible for web, email, and ecommerce platforms and applications.

4) Ensure stability of websites and email systems (software and hardware).

5) Track and maintain downtime for all on-line content. (intranet, internet, ecommerce, email)

6) Establish Disaster Recovery Plans for website, ecommerce, and email.

7) Prioritize work for web team by communicating with key customers.

Requirements:

1) Manager should be versed in the following technologies: AJAX, ColdFusionMX, Flash Remoting, ASP.NET, C#, MySQL, and MS SQL server and have experience developing in object-oriented languages and projects.

2) Experience with guest service and sales platforms is a plus such as Agilysys [formerly VisualOne] and Siriusware.

3) Experience with hardware performance tuning is a plus.

4) Must work collaboratively with other developers, thus the successful candidate must have good communication skills and have prior management experience.
